Maximum Ride 4 was...

...Way below my expectations. Sad

Max and the Flock were great, but I felt no closure. What happened for Fang and Max? What was up with Fang and Brigid? (That was creepy...)

...IGGY! DID YOU GET YOUR SIGHT BACK?!?

It felt like...the other three could have stood alone. The fourth book, to me, was like "Global warming is bad! Very bad. Oh, crap...not a very interesting enemy...here's a random cyborg man and his Hulk/Eegor thing!" The Uber-Director sounded promising, but then...he...wasn't all that intimidating.

And don't get me wrong; I'm all for saving the environment, but...

The fourth book felt...oddly hollow where the others captivated me. I...cried in the third book. I finished Final Warning with this vague, 'Oh, that was nice...' feeling.

It wasn't all bad though. I loved seeing the familiar spunk Max has. Total was a treat :D Loved him to DEATH! Angel freaks me out in the best possible way. Fang...-slaps on wrist- You are not jailbait! xD Iggy and the Gasman. Smile

This is true. But hopefully he'll actually DO something with his characters instead of trying to stuff a thinly veiled lesson down the readers' throats.

The ending of this book was a bit shabby, in my honest opinion.
