He laughed, "You're quite the piece of work. I remember seeing you at various events. You never looked very happy. I rather like them, though."

"You remembered me?" She laughed shortly. "No, I wasn't very happy. Socials never were my thing. And I hold nothing against you for enoying them."

He grinned. "Of course I remember you. Who could forget that brooding face?" he laughed. "I was too afraid I'd get hospitalized by you or your brothers if I talked to you."

Door hid her blush behind a cough. "I doubt that Tremor would do much. Thatch...maybe. You never can be sure with him. But...I wouldn't have minded at all. I would've liked someone to talk with..."

"They seemed so...natural. I really would've liked to get to know them, but Father always had someone for me to talk to, something for me to do. It was more like work than a party, you know?"

"I know," Door muttered, rolling her eyes. "I just wished that I didn't have to leave. That there was some other way. But now that I look back," she smiled, "I have no regrets."

Alex smiled. "What's it like?" he said abruptly.

"Hm?" She blinked, taken aback at his suddenness.

"Out here. Not couped up in a house too large not to be lonely."

Door smiled. "It's really nice...it's hardly ever boring. Going new places, seeing new sights...the mountain in the sunset is really gorgeous...and the sunset over lake Hylia is a sight to die for..." She blinked dreamily, her mind wandering to the places where she had been in the past.

Alexander smiled at her.

"That sounds incredible." he said sincerely.

Door nodded dreamily, then blinked her head clear. "I could show you, if you'd like!"

"I'd really love to, but my father would have my head." he said, crestfallen, "Perhaps another time, then?"

"Really? Are you sure?" She took a quick glance at the sun. "I could have you back before dark, I'm positive! They'd never know!"

"Weeeeell..."

He hesitated. "Okay, but we have to hurry."
