Marie was shaking from the sheer wonder of it all.

Malon didn't quite know what to think, "I'm on my way back there now. I was just making my deliveries...would you like to accompany me?"

Judging by their behavior, Malon thought they wouldn't last two minutes without her taking them in.

"I'm sure she would," Cat said. "But where are my manners? I'm Cat." She bowed. "This is Marie."

"Pleased to make your acquaintance."

Malon smiled happily, "Hop in the back then." she said, alighting upon the wagon, and taking the reigns in her hands.

Cat climbed onto the wagon, dumping a last bit of water out of her squishing shoes.

"What will father say?" she thought, frowning, "Ah, well...he's always wanted me to find some friends...I suppose he'll welcome them with open arms..."

Cat looked at Marie. "Kinda quiet. You okay?"

"Yeah, yeah..." she said, oddly distant, "Just thinkin', that's all..."

"About....?"

"This...how it's possible...it's amazing..."

She sighed, "And about how I'd be if I hadn't met you and Jerm."

Cat grinned. "You'd be drowning in algebra homework," she said simply. "You're welcome."

Marie laughed, brushing off her contemplative, sober mood, and adopting a more festive one.

"Thanks much!" she said, as they cruised through Hyrule Field

Cat amused herself by testing Marie on various Hyrule trivia. "Okay, where does that road lead?"

"Lon Lon Ranch, but if you don't turn off, it goes right to Castle Town." she replied.

"Okay...and those mountains over there?"

"Death Mountain, and it's numerous precipices."
