Portal Four: Galdira

Stupid Galdesh army, waltzing right through Venuchi Forest like they own it. And one of those army guys even through a rock at me when they saw me! I still have the bruises…

I guess it’s not all bad. THe Venuchi Forest is famous for its hot springs. Maybe that’ll help me ease up a bit.

The forest was noisy!
Miji was puddled by a rock, wide-eyed as an angry-looking tall being tromped past him. He stared after the soldir, wondering why he looked so...not happy.
When the majority of the squad had passed, the water spirit flowed back towards the springs, needing to get his energy back. He had been exploring the forest for an hour or so, but he couldn't stay out of water forever. He slipped back into the warm water, shedding his solid form and merging with the water.

“Cannonball!” I yell as I leap from a tree into the hot springs. The great thing about being small is that the water is always deep enough to swim in.

Water went everywhere, causing Miji great distress. What was going on? Why was this happening??
The little water spirit was flung helter-skelter, eventually flowing back into the spring with the majority of the water. He peeked his sharp green eyes out above the water and blinked. There was something in the water...did that cause the disturbance?

I love the hot springs…

I start doing the backstroke.

Miji bounced along with the slight waves that the intruder stirred up. He was curious, as was normal, to see how this being lived, how he could be in the water without completely merging with it...it was intriguing, and Miji was transfixed.

*OOC: Pandora.*

I dive underwater swim around under the surface. I wonder how long I can hold my breath.

Miji stared at the furry white...thing, wondering what he was doing. When the squirrel swam straight through him, he spooked and flowed together to deposit himself on the bank.

I poke my head out of the water, gasping for air.

!?

Either the lack of oxygen has gone to my head or there’s some water creature ashore!

Miji stares right back, equally as shocked. For all he knows, this creature could be from the moon! He blinks at the little being with his green eyes, unmoving save for his tail, which flicks back and forth, spattering water across the surface of the pool.

Was it something I ate?

I wonder if this is a being of evil. One way to find out, I suppose. I wave nervously. “Uh… hi,” I say.

Miji cocked his head to the side and blinked. "Hi," he said, mimicking the squirrel perfectly.

“Uh, my name is Pandora Box. You can call me Pan, though,” I say.

"Pandora Box. Pan." Miji blinked. And stared. Then he spoke again. "Miji Paka. Miji."

“Er, hi Miji…” I say. This is definitely an odd one. Then again, I’m an odd one. “So, what were you doing here? Or is this your home?”

Miji blinked again, his green eyes vanishing under his watery lids. "Home...yes. This is my home."

A silence follows. I really don’t know what to say next.

"This is...your home?" Asks the little water spirit, tilting his head to the side.

“The forest is just a place I visit often. My real home’s back at the temple,” I explain.

"Temple," Miji echoed. "Where?"

“It’s in the town, not far from here.”

"Oh." The little spirit pondered this for a moment, his curiosity growing. "Is there...water...there?"

“The temple’s near a fountain,” I answer

Again, he blinked. "I would like to go there," he said. "Might I come with you? If you don't mind?"
